Salesforce architecture isn't about configuring the platform correctly once - it's about making data model, security, and automation decisions that stay correct after the org grows, gains integrations, and spans multiple teams.

In practice, that means deciding where logic should live (declarative vs. Apex), how to structure sharing and visibility without creating permanent manual exceptions, and treating governor limits as a known design constraint - not a production surprise.

It also means knowing when the right answer is to simplify rather than add another automation: part of an architect's job is saying no to complexity that doesn't pay for itself.
